Product License
Last updated Oct 15, 2026. This is a plain-English draft written by Swarmnest. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not legal advice. Questions: [email protected].
This is the standard license for digital products (prompt packs, workflows, agent skills, templates, starter kits and similar) bought in the Swarmnest marketplace. It applies unless the product page shows a different license. It is part of our Terms of Use.
In one paragraph
When you buy a product, you may use it, change it and use what you make with it, for yourself or your business, including commercial work for clients. You may not resell, share or give away the product itself, or pass it off as your own product.
1. What you get
When you pay, Swarmnest (or, for a third-party product, its creator) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual license to download and use the product, subject to these terms. You get a license, not ownership of the product or its intellectual property.
2. What you may do
- Personal use: use the product for your own projects.
- Commercial use: use the product in your own business, including to run internal agents and automations, and to deliver services and work to your clients.
- Modify: edit, adapt, translate and combine the product with your own work.
- Outputs: use, publish and sell the outputs you create with the product (for example, text an agent writes using a prompt pack, or a deployed workflow running for your client), as long as you do not distribute the product itself as part of those outputs. As between you and us, we claim no ownership of your outputs.
- Copies: keep backup copies and install the product on devices and accounts you control.
3. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent, share, give away or publish the product, or any substantial part of it, whether original or modified, free or paid.
- Include the product's files in another product, template, pack, course or kit offered to others, or upload it to marketplaces, public repositories, prompt libraries or file-sharing sites.
- Claim you created the product, remove copyright notices, or sell it under another name.
- Use the product in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy or the terms of third-party services it connects to.
4. Users and teams
A single purchase covers one person. That person may use the product for their employer or clients. If several people in an organization will use the product files directly, buy one copy each, or email [email protected] to ask about a team license. Giving a client a working deliverable built with the product is fine; giving them the product files to reuse is not.
5. Third-party tools and costs
Products may rely on third-party services, such as AI models, automation platforms or hosting (for example n8n or Cloudflare Workers). Those services have their own terms, prices and limits, which you must follow and pay for. Products may stop working as designed if a third party changes its service; see the Refund Policy. Products do not include any license to third-party software unless the product page says so. Some products may include open-source components under their own licenses; where they do, those licenses are included with the files and apply to those components.
6. Updates
If we release updates to a product, we may make them available to existing buyers at no charge, but we do not promise updates, support or compatibility with future versions of third-party tools unless the product page says so.
7. No guarantee of results
Products are tools. AI output can be wrong or unexpected, and results depend on the models, data and settings you use. Review and test outputs before relying on them, especially for anything involving money, legal, medical, security or personal data. The disclaimers and limits in our Terms of Use apply.
8. Ending the license
The license continues unless it ends. It ends automatically if you materially break it or if your purchase is refunded or reversed by chargeback. When it ends, you must stop using the product and delete your copies. Outputs you created lawfully before then remain yours to use.
9. Third-party creators (future)
If a product is made by an outside creator, the creator grants this license (or the license on the product page) to you, and Swarmnest facilitates the sale. The creator, not Swarmnest, is responsible for the product's contents.
